About Nadam: A Small Catalog, Tested by Ear

The name comes from nada, the Sanskrit word for sound. Sound is the thing we obsess over, and the reason our catalog is one instrument in seven sizes instead of three hundred unrelated products.

Nadam started the way most product brands do: with frustration. Mira Chandran, our sound practitioner and product lead, has spent years leading small-group sound baths, and kept watching newcomers arrive with bowls bought online that clanged, buzzed, or refused to sing.
